Dorothy Dyer is the founder of Cover2Cover Books and the FunDza Literacy Trust, which uses innovative ways to get young South Africans reading for pleasure. A former English teacher who taught at a range of South African high schools, Dorothy has an enduring passion for getting her students to read. Dorothy is also the author of numerous teen novels and textbooks, and has run workshops to test materials and to develop students’ writing. She has a Masters from UCT in Applied Language and Literacy Studies, and has just completed her Masters in Creative Writing, also through UCT.
