Thulani Kuzwayo primarily oversees the Green Star SA Certification process and is the project manager for the development of an assessment tool for sustainable communities. He studied Architectural Technology (Applied Design) at the University of Johannesburg. Prior to joining the GBCSA, he was part of various design teams that worked on local and international architectural projects in the hotel & resort, industrial and residential sectors. Further to building design and technical documentation, he has been involved in developing Quality Management Systems and has worked as a Sessional Lecturer at the School of Architecture and Planning at the University of Witwatersrand. His current role at the GBCSA has included promoting sustainability as one of the important core design principles and strategies in the life cycle of work in the built environment.
