The Cardiopad

The Cardiopad is a touch screen medical tablet that enables heart examinations such as the electrocardiogram (ECG) to be performed at remote, rural locations while the results of the test are transferred wirelessly to specialists who can interpret them. This Cameroonian innovation the brain child of Time magazine’s 2013 under 30 world changer Arthur Zang, allows patients living in remote rural areas to still get the vital medical attention and necessary examinations they would typically only receive in urban centers.
